This course is for Jordan School District 6th grade students entering 7th grade who have been placed in the 8th grade math honors course and have not taken 7th grade math.
Event Details
This course is for Jordan School District 6th grade students entering 7th grade who have been placed in the 8th grade math honors course and have not taken 7th grade math. It will teach important concepts from 7th grade math that students will not learn in any other course. Topics will include: integer operations, rational operations, expressions and equations, inequalities, ratios, proportion, percent, geometry, and statistics.
Students are required to be on time and to attend all classes. Students may miss up to 3 hours of the course. Students may only take one USTAR summer core class. Students may attend classes at any school but transportation is not available. We may cancel a class if a minimum number of students have not registered.
Students NOT enrolled in Jordan School District are charged $75.00 for this course. Please contact Amanda Hansen @ 801-567-8319 for payment information.
