Description

Vito was a great cook who was influenced by his late Grandmother's incredible Italian home cooking. He loved to cook and became an accomplished and creative cook. He decided that he would take his culinary creativity on the road. So after city approval, he literally parked his street vendor grill on the corner of Main St. at 200 South in beautiful downtown Bountiful, UT. His food was literally a smash hit as Vito became very popular among the entre demographics of the area. Out of necessity he had t soon expand his operation to a café-canteen on the same block in the rear of the U. of U. extension parking lot. There his fame continued to spread and Vito was no longer a "location restaurant/café" but established "Vito's" as a destination spot. No matter where he ended up, everyone would follow which they did. Because several very successful years of making the community very happy with his famous Vito's Philly Cheesesteaks, landed him a central location he really did not even need; right in the heart of Bountiful, UT center at Main St. and 100 South. The property owner insisted that he move there and saved it for him as soon as his space became vacant.
