About Midvale
Midvale, Utah is the home of the Hillcrest Huskies. It is located between highways 15, 71 and 80 in Salt Lake County. The population is 28,129 according to the last poll taken. The zip code is 84047. And the cost of living median is somewhat lower than the norm. Residents take an active role in fighting crime via the Community Oriented Policing and the Neighborhood Watch Program. Crime rates fluctuate from year to year. There are three hospitals in other cities, but all three miles away. On a positive side, there are five elementary schools, two elementary programs, one middle school, two high schools and a handful of colleges and universities in other cities, to include a three mile Salt Lake City. Visitors can enjoy a nice variety of fast food branches, ethnic cuisine and many other restaurants. Maybe one would enjoy some apple picking or has a wedding, party, banquet, meeting or other event to plan? It can be done in Midvale. Hotels, motels, inns and lodging are also available. There is a dog park and an International Airport in nearby Salt Lake City. Annual events include the American Heritage Festival, the Halloween corn maze and a Cinco De Mayo.
