Event Details
Our Exploration themed Stop Motion Beginners Course is part of a 5 day Camp that will be held March 27-31 from 3-5 p.m. in our South Jordan store with a LIVE instructor. If you are wondering if this camp is right for you check out the benefits listed below!
Perfect for ages 8+, especially for those who have little to no experience doing Stop Motion
Participants are part of a class and therefore are learning and interacting with other students, and will also need a Smart Device (Smartphone, Tablet, etc.) to take pictures and videos to learn how to construct their very own Stop Motion Movies and Videos.
All Stop Motion Animation Camps include a “Starter Kit”, which has: A Stop Motion Animation Learning Guide, medium baseplate, camera stand plus clicker, small tub of Bulk, and sticky tack!
Students will get to select and keep their very own LEGO® movie star by choosing to build their own Fig at our Minifig Maker Table or selecting a Case Fig within the Adventure theme up to a $6 value. This includes figs in the following categories: Princess, Castles, Lord of the Rings, and Ninjago.
Students will use their smart device to learn how to craft their very own stories!
Students will learn hands-on stop motion techniques for telling stories and bringing their LEGO® play to life! Each day has a new lesson and plenty of time to practice, practice, practice with help from an experienced instructor!
Camps will end with a Film Festival that will allow all participants to show off what they have learned with family & friends!
