Joins Us in Salt Lake City for a Two Day Workshop on Compassionate Listening. These are necessary insights and tools to help bring the Pure Land here and now.
Event Details
Hoffman has worked over 40 years dealing with international conflict and has done much work getting Israelis and Palestinians hear one another.
These lessons are ones we can use for ourselves, our families and even more importantly our communities.
Our workshop will be lead by Christopher Kakuyo Sensei and also facilitated by various members of the Salt Lake Buddhist Sangha.
We will have a guided discussions on - Compassion - Hatred - Denial - Forgiveness - Reconciliation -
We will examine Thich Nhat Hahn's Approach to the Art of Listening and finally we will look at M Adam's Curle's Tools for Transformation.
The workshop will be two days and 6 hours a day with a light working lunch that will be catered. There will be breaks for silence meditation walking meditation and chanting.
Spaces are limited to 35
the cost is $40.00 (There is also a what you can pay option for those that are on a budget)
